Youniverse Terms Of Service

Welcome to Youniverse, a metaverse platform operated by eSolved MSC Sdn. Bhd. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Youniverse platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using Youniverse, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use Youniverse ("Users").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Youniverse. By accessing or using the platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained permission from a parent or guardian to use the platform, and they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of Youniverse, you will need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process and to keep your account information current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account.
4. Use of the Platform
Youniverse allows you to explore virtual worlds, socialize, play games, customize avatars and apartments, shop, and more. By using Youniverse, you agree not to:
- Use Youniverse for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Harass, bully, or harm other users or disrupt the community experience.
- Post, upload, or distribute any content that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
- Engage in cheating, hacking, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized third-party software.
- Upload or post content that infringes any intellectual property or privacy rights of third parties.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
We reserve the right to monitor activity on the platform and to remove or disable any content or accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content
You may upload images, photos, and other content as part of customizing your avatar and apartment in Youniverse ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to use and share the User Content.
- Your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
- Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and does not contain offensive or inappropriate material.
By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use, display, distribute, and modify your content for the purposes of operating and promoting Youniverse.
6. Games and In-Game Purchases
Youniverse provides a variety of games and experiences, some of which may require in-game currency (Younits) or real-world currency to access. By making any purchases within Youniverse, you agree to the pricing, payment terms, and any applicable taxes as specified during the transaction process. All in-game purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from engaging in activities that could compromise the integrity, security, or functionality of Youniverse, including but not limited to:
- Hacking, reverse-engineering, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
- Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage.
- Selling, trading, or transferring your account without our explicit permission.
8. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. By using Youniverse, you agree to our collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available on Youniverse, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and images, are the property of eSolved MSC Sdn. Bhd. or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without our express written permission.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to Youniverse at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease, and you will lose access to your account and any in-game purchases.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Youniverse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the content available on the platform or the security or reliability of the services provided.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eSolved MSC Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Youniverse.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through Youniverse or by other means. Your continued use of Youniverse after such changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
